BELOIT ? Kathleen Ann Hassinger, 78, of 2770 Iva Court, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, at home. She was born in Beloit on June 28, 1926; daughter of William and Anna (Daley) McQuade. She graduated from Janesville High School in 1944. Kathleen married George Hassinger in Oconomowoc on July 2, 1976, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 1987. She had been employed by Parker Pen, Total TV, Knobel and Rose Architect and First Federal Savings in North Carolina. She was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. Kathleen enjoyed bowling, playing bridge, and was an avid Cubs fan. She is survived by her 5 children: Sandi (Chris) Eiring of Oconomowoc, Dennis (Lori) Ryan of Niles, MI, Sue Ryan of Washington, Monica (Patrick) Flynn, and Mark (LeeAnn) Ryan both of Beloit; 4 step children: Terri (John) Runde of Janesville, John Hassinger of Colorado Springs, Jeff (Nancy) Hassinger and Bill (April) Hassinger all of Janesville; 10 grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; 8 step great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary McGuire of Janesville; a brother, Vincent (Dorothy) McQuade of Sioux Falls, SD; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Colleen Ryan; a brother, Eugene McQuade; and a sister, Margaurite Collins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church , Beloit, with Fr. Gary Krahenbuhl officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Assumption. Memorials may be made to Beloit Regional Hospice or Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church.
