MURDOCK: OBITUARY OF IDA MAY MURDOCK MORTIMER
Ida May Mortimer, daughter of John and Susanna Murdock, was born I Valton, April 10, 1876 and died at the home of her son, Virgil, September 7, 1955 at the age of 79 years, 4 months, and 27 days.
When 12 years old she moved with her parents to a farm two miles southwest of Valton where she resided until she was 30. In 1906, she was united in marriage with James Mortimer. Mrs. Mortimer leaves to mourn her passing, three sons and their wives: Gilbert and Dorothy of Eau Claire, Virgil and Sophia of Valton, and Wayne and Melva of Kelso, Washington, and other relatives and friends.
